While doctors, like everyone else, make mistakes, many times those mistakes are not harmful.  In other cases, the doctor’s actions may not be the cause of an injury or condition. One must carefully weigh any decision to bring a medical malpractice claim against a doctor.  AMLO does evaluate people who believe they have been injured by medical negligence, and will employ nurses and physicians as expert witnesses to render opinions as to whether there has been a violation of the standard of care, which is a requirement for anyone to recover legal damages.
